So, What do you want?

09.23.06 12:08 AM EST

Are you familiar with the Law Of Attraction?

It can be defined as the following:

I attract to my life whatever I give my attention,
energy and focus to, whether positive or negative.

The Law Of Attraction is always working.

Either for you or against you.

Every second of every minute of every day, you are
either attracting the things, people and activities you
DO want or you’re attracting the things, people and
activities you DON’T want.

There is no “fine line”.

Embracing this law is vital to your success in every
area of your life.

Now, before you brush this idea off as mumbo-jumbo, check
out this FREE Visualization Tool.

Here’s a Million Dollar concept for you…

When you make a statement with the words don’t, not
or no, you are actually giving attention and energy to
what you don’t want.

In their place, ask yourself:

“So, What do I want”?

When you go from what you don’t want to what you
do want, the words change. When the words change,
the vibration ( or vibe ) you’re sending changes and
you can only send out one vibration at a time.

Deep stuff?

Not really.

It’s simply a matter of becoming consciously aware of
your thoughts and feelings in any given moment. Because
how you feel about something will generate more of the
same to appear.

You can learn more about The Law of Attraction by
watching The Secret movie in its entirety and by reading
Law of Attraction by Michael Losier.

Both are excellent resources.

Personally, I’d start with the FREE Visualization Tool
as linked above. If you “GET IT”, then watch the 90
minute movie for $4.95.

Afterwards, apply your new knowledge on a daily basis.
You’ll be pleasantly surprised as to how powerful this
attraction stuff really is.

Enjoy, Tim

Ouch Money

09.19.06 12:46 PM EST

As I write this to you, I am sitting in the lobby of
a Best Western in Williams Arizona. There is an older
gentleman ( 70ish ) who is bickering with the front
desk clerk over his room charge.

From what I can hear, he has been over charged a whopping $4.32.

For a movie rental from the night before.

This has been going on for 7 minutes.

( Looking at clock on laptop )

Neither will budge.

Who’s right, who’s wrong?

I don’t know.

It’s a battle of wills.

From a customer service perspective, the clerk should
refund the charge and be done with it.

That’s clearly not on her mind right now.

( 8 minutes )

This episode of Best Westerns Finest Moments gets
me thinking about what I heard this weekend. I was
talking to a guy at the David Copperfield show who
told me about “Ouch Money”.

$4.32 is NOT “Ouch Money”.

$432 is NOT “Ouch Money”.

$4320 is NOT “Ouch Money”.

At what point does money become “Ouch Money”?

To the guy I was talking too, it was mid to high six figures.

For the uninitiated, that’s $500,000 and up.

That’s his defition of “Ouch Money”.

I don’t know how we got on the subject and what
it was that he and I were actually talking about. That’s
what one too many Alabama Slammers will do to you.

Anyways…

Coming back to the Best Western.

( 11 minutes later ).

The guy has walked out, in disgust.

Sputtering profanity under his breath.

Evidently $4.32 is his definition of “Ouch Money”.

Otherwise he wouldn’t have carried on as long as he did.

( Thinking )

How would I re-act in that situation?

I’d question it and then move on.

If I got it taken off the bill or not, is irrelevant.

My mindset has to be 100% of the time focused on
abundance and prosperity. Not lack and limitation.

It takes practice to think that way.

But I’ve found that the more I do think abundance
v/s lack, the more abunbance I get.

Which leads us into the Law of Attraction.

Stay tuned….

It’s a little after 6 AM EST here in Ohio

All is quiet on the home-front.

Just had a Cinnamom Crunch roll from Panera Bread.

( Yummy! )

I’m sitting in the front room of a friend of mines condo.

He lives in a complex of about 400 condos.

So far, I’ve personally seen 4 men and 3 women rush
out the front door, into their car parked in the drive
and off they go.

One gal was hustling.

She was carrying 2 over the shoulder bags, her purse,
what looked like a small box of files in her left hand and
one cup of something in her right hand.

Off to work she went.

Next time you’ll see her or any of the others will probably
be late this afternoon or evening, which means minimum
10-12 hour day.

( T.G.I.F.! )

How many of you are rushing off to work right now?

Maybe you’re already there.

Or maybe you’re just getting up like I am.

My commute is all the way of 13 seconds.

No gas used.

No mileage on my Jeep.

No sitting in traffic listening to morning talk radio.

Just sitting here, watching everyone else hustle
out the door, in eagerness to create a pay-check.

Maybe I know something they don’t?

09.06.06 7:41 PM EST

In the restaurant field, most businesses pay every 2 weeks.

Some are cool and pay weekly like Ruby Tuesdays, Sbarros,
Red Lobster & Olive Garden.

Even still, as an ex-employee of each one of the above
establishments, I dreaded having to start over with
each new pay period.

For example, Red Lobsters pay schedule was Monday –
Sunday with checks issued the following Friday.

Come 8 AM Monday morning, everyone was starting the
week off with a big fat 0 on their time card.

Towards the end of the pay period, you’ve accumulated
some hours. You can “SEE” a check. You can run the
numbers in your head. By Saturday night, you have a
baseline minimum of what your check will look like on Friday.

Then, life repeats itself, and you end up starting from
0 again come Monday.

Over and over and over again…

That was my routine for 2 years from Jan ‘99 through Jan ‘01.

Clock in, Clock out.

Get Paid, Start over.

Those of you who are getting paid hourly can instantly
relate to this. Even if you’re salary, you too are starting
over with each new pay period. You get your check every
2 weeks like the rest of us so come Monday morning, you’ve
got a big fat 0 on your time card too.

The funny thing was ( to me anyway ) was that most of
my fellow co-workers saw nothing wrong with this. They
looked at as a fact of life. Like their lives and their income
were not within their control. They came to work everyday
for a paycheck. Nothing more.

But I wanted more.

And not just income.

I wanted…

* Freedom.

* Independence.

* Excitement.

* Challenges.

* To be in Control

And I couldn’t do any of that at an hourly J.O.B.

So I left.

To the shock of all of my co-workers.

I ventured out into the wilderness of entrepreneurship.

I got a part-time gig cleaning carpets for $15 an hour.

It gave me a lot of flexibility & freedom to pursue my
other interests like real estate ( bought 11 properties
all NO money down… Thanks Carlton Sheets! ) and
of course, Internet / Network Marketing.

I think back to that day I walked out of Red Lobster for
the last time. Where would I be if I hadn’t made the
decision to leave and more importantly, followed through
on that decision?

Sadly…

Probably still working for a restaurant somewhere.

Bored out of my mind, to afraid to do anything else.

And I’d be collecting my check every 2 weeks.

Just like everyone else.

Just My Luck!

09.04.06 8:34 PM EST

Have you seen the movie Just My Luck, starring Lindsay Lohan?

I watched it earlier this afternoon.

Definitely one of those “Girl gets Guy” kind of movies.

Anyway…

There’s one scene that really got my attention.

It’s when the owner of Downtown Masquerade Records
Damon Phillips ( played by Faizon Love ) is sitting in the
meeting room with Ashley Albright ( played by Lindsay Lohan ).

He’s having to wait for the meeting to start, which makes
him very “furious”.

He asks Ashley ( Lindsay ), if she knows how much Downtown
Masquerade Records made last year.

She promptly replies, “$507 Million… Gross”.

“Therefore, you know how much each and every minute of
my TIME is worth”, inquires Damon Phillips.

One of Damons aides does some quick work on a calculator.

“$964″, the aide declares.

Which leads Damon Phillips to abruptly get up from his chair
and begin to walk out, only before he’s persuaded to stay
by Ashley, who offers to pay him $965 per minute to wait,
because she thinks he’s “under-paid”.

Ok, anyone who makes $964 per minute is NOT under-paid.

But that’s not the point.

The point is that how many of us are really that aware
of how much our TIME is really worth?

Run your numbers.

See for yourself what each and every minute of each
and every day is worth to you in terms of income.

And then make a conscious decision to be more aware
of how you spend your newly discovered valuable time.

You’ll be surprised to see how much “MONEY” is thrown
away on thoughtless and wasteful activities.

And it really is “MONEY” that you’re wasting.

Because after all, TIME is MONEY.

Catch ya later, Tim

PS: I ran my own numbers too. Based on last years numbers,
my rate was a whopping .28 cents of every minute of every day.

I guess I have some work ahead of me to get up to
$964 per minute!
