Excuse me for one second.
I have to vent….
Keith called me this morning at 7:34 AM EST.
I had spoken to this guy numerous times over the
past week and a half about my 2 programs and the
exceptional training environment he would have
access to.
I answered all of his questions, politely and thoroughly.
After all of that, he had the audacity to tell me
that he was no longer interested because there wasn’t
a guarantee.
( I couldn’t believe he said that! )
In other words…
If he joined, there wouldn’t be a guarantee on the
table that says in 2 weeks ( thinking like an employee
here ) that he’d have some money coming his way.
Sorry.
No can do.
There were no guarantees on the table when I got
started online 8 years ago. I could have very easily
said the same thing that Keith did and then walked
away… retreating back to the safety ( yeah right )
of my over-worked restaurant manager position.
But I didn’t.
And here I am…
8 years later, sharing my story with you.
Have there been hurdles?
YES.
Have there been times when I wanted to cry?
YES.
Have there been times when I thought I couldn’t do it?
YES.
Have there been times when I was Spending more than I made?
YES.
( Correction! )
Make that a YES!
Ok, then.
What’s your excuse?
Why are you still sitting on the fence?
There is a whole world out there, asking for
( no, begging for ) your leadership.
Don’t do like the Keith’s of the world do and
foolishly think that you need a guarantee before
jumping into the game.
You create your own guarantee when you learn
