She’s working too damn hard for $330 a week.

I want to share something with you.

Each morning, I wake up around 8 AM.

Just in time to see my 2 newspaper carriers
throwing the daily edition around like paper cups.

One’s a guy, the other a gal.

Both are SPEED walkers.

let me tell ya..

They must have a hectic schedule because they don’t
piss around. It’s all business to them. House to house,
they’re done with our cul-de-sac in record time.

One day, curiosity got the better of me and I
roped one of them onto my front porch.

I had to tie her down.

She was like a caged animal, wanting to be free.

I had about 50 seconds to ask her a question that
I had been dying to know and that was…

How much are you guys making, hustling newspapers
up and down the street?

The answer almost caused me to fall back into my easy chair.

I could not believe what she replied to me.

Her response was

We each make about $330 a week, working 6 days a week.

Holy S**t!

$330 a week for 6 days worth of labor?

You gotta be kidding me.

That’s a measly $55 a day.

It costs me $67 and change to fill up my Trail Blazer.

But never mind that.

So I did the most honorable thing I could,

I gave her a business card with my website info on it.

I told her that she was working far too hard for the
peanuts she was gathering each week. And that there
was a better way.

She smiled.

She relaxed.

She walked off my front porch as if she was floating on air.

Perhaps my words were like music to her ears.

only question remains is…

Will she check out my website?

Most likely.

But the other REAL question is..

Will she do something about her situation?

Or will she wake up the next morning, thinking that it was all a dream.

I have my doubts.

Though I have been fooled before.

Sometimes it’s the people you least expect to make a change
for themselves who come out on top, looking and smiling like
WINNERS.

Oh well.

I did what I could.

I planted the IDEA SEED in her head.

That’s our JOB, as Partners in Prosperity, to plant as many
IDEA SEEDS in peoples heads as we can.

To help them break-free from the daily grind they find
themselves in.

This EMAIL is an IDEA SEED.

A follow-up call is an IDEA SEED.

A post-card is an IDEA SEED.

A classified ad is an IDEA SEED.

Everything starts with an IDEA SEED.

Once an IDEA SEED is planted in someones head, it’s
only a matter of time before you find out what grows
from it.

It will either be prosperity and abundance, freedom, a
different way of thinking, etc…

Or it will be more of the same worry, frustration, doubt and
fear, that persistently holds so many of us back.

Either way, it’s not our choice as to what happens.

It’s the persons decision.

To change

Or not to change.

For me though, personally, I’d really like to see my
newspaper gal change. Attractive & energetic, she’s
doing the world a HUGE dis-service by delivering papers.

If ONLY for a minute, she’d IMAGINE the possibilities.

Opps…

Look at the time.

2:40 PM EST

Gotta run, to pre-school.

PSS: I know what it’s like to work for $300 a week.
Back in ‘96, I spent 4 months as an Assistant Manager
of a Burger King restaurant. I drove an HOUR each way
to work, 5 days a week, in a ‘86 Buick Century. It was
HELL. Never again would I go back.
