3 Critical Steps To Pocketing Massive Cash Consistently

(Key word here is “Consistently”. You can’t maintain a lifestyle
on Fast money, but you can build a lifestyle with Consistent
Money).

These are the 3 basic steps that must be followed if you’re
going to be a success online or offline, in your home based
biz opp.

The 1st step is the ability to drive targeted traffic to your website.

Lets face it…

The traffic (aka.. visitors/leads) come 1st.

Without it, there are no over-night packages, checks or enrollments in
whatever program it is that you’re promoting.

Remember this at all costs.

No Leads = No Cash

Examples Of Generating Traffic:

* Pay-Per-Click (Google Adowrds)

* Banner ads & (PAID) Safelists

* Email Marketing

* Cell Phone Marketing (This idea is HOT!)

* Postcards

* Forum Postings

* Article Marketing

* Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, YouTube)

All of these methods have one objective and
that is oush targeted visitors to your page.

It’s NOT to sell them immediately.

It’s NOT to make friends.

It’s NOT to brand yourself.

It’s to CAPTURE A LEAD.

Which leads us to #2.

The 2nd critical step is to build a “LIST”.

A “LIST” (aka… your own opt-in email list) is a group
of prospects who have raised their hand and expressed
interest in your offer.

We call them LEADS.

They’re the life-blood of any home biz.

The MORE leads you have flowing your marketing
pipeline the greater your chance of seeing consistent
results.

How do you capture your leads?

You use a lead capture page to BAIT and CATCH your prospects
contact information, mostly name and email address. If you can
snag a phone number and physical mailing address, then all the
better.

There are TWO huge benefits to building your own 100% opt-in LIST.

The 1st benefit is that you now have the capability to follow-up with
your LIST, long after they originally requested information.

Do you know that there are people reading this blog post right now, who
have been on my personal email LIST since 2003?

Six yrs later.

They’re still getting communication from me.

The 2nd benefit of having a large and expanding list
of people who know, like and trust you is a valuable asset.

Think about it…

How powerful would it be for you to be able to mass
broadcast via email, phone and direct mail, your own
personal sales message to thousands of people who
KNEW, LIKED and TRUSTED YOU?

Let me tell ya…

It’s beyond powerful.

It’s liberating.

To know that you can literally create cash-on-demand because
you’ve cultivated your own personal list of prospects.

Just like a farmer who cultivates the corn field and the collects his crop.

Which leads us into #3.

The 3rd step is Conversion.

The farmer who cultivates his corn field and collects his crop is
CONVERTING a seed to a tangible food product.

You, being LIKE a farmer…

Will take a name and email address (YOUR SEED) and cultivate
that seed to CONVERT into an enrollment, registration, sign-up,
etc…. whatever process your “system” or “program” takes.

Here’s the CATCH.

That SEED could take days to CONVERT.

That SEED could take weeks to CONVERT.

That SEED could take MONTHS to CONVERT.

That SEED could take YEARS to CONVERT.

But you DO NOT care.

Why?

Because you’ll still be here, days, weeks, months, years later.

Ready and able to CONVERT that SEED when it’s time to do so.

Without this long term attitude, so many of you will leave many
thousands upon thousands of dollars behind, only to be grabbed
by the entrepreneur who’s willing to wait.

Take these 3 steps to heart.

Each one builds on each other.

Not any one step is more important than the other.

If one step isn’t present, the other two will soon crumble.

It’s inevitable.

Right now, its friday afternoon, about 2 PM.

I was sitting around on the couch when I got a
text message on my blackberry about some “Guru”
from England promoting his information product
using catchy phrases such as make “Massive Cash
Fast”.

Sounds great, doesn’t it?

Of course it does. It got my attention, as surely it would yours.

I mean, who could resist the idea of being able to generate
Massive Cash Fast?

Using words like that would turn on the coldest of prospects.

But unfortunately…

There’s one FLAW.

And it’s pointed directly at people like YOU and I.

The flaw is in the word FAST.

Massive Cash Fast implies ‘right now’, ‘quickly’, ‘today’,
‘easy money’, etc…

Which can be translated into:

‘I’m getting evicted 3 days from now so let me make some money
(FAST) like today so I can pay my back rent and stay another month’.

This is how most people who NEED fast money think.

(notice I said NEED, more on that in just a second!)

They’re in such a desperate state for money FAST because they’ve been
playing the “Rob Peter to Pay Paul” game for far too long and it’s
catching up with them.

I should know, I was once a “Fast Money Thinker”.

(more on that too in just a second…)

Do you SEE the BIG problem here?

Fast is the short term glorifier, not the long term objective.

Fast will pay your bills from 3 months ago, but not keep the
same roof over your head a year from now.

Fast will quickly (pardon the pun) out-run you.

Think of an avalanche that’s gaining speed and size as it rolls
rapidly down the hill.

The avalanche will destroy whatever is in its path.

It doesn’t care.

Money doesn’t care either.

Too much money too fast is the equalivent of the avalanche hurling
its way down the mountain side.

You, at the bottom, don’t stand a chance.

All you can do is hunker down and quiver like a little school girl.

And hope & pray that the avalanche stops before completely destroying you.

I know, I know.

This sounds so silly doesn’t it?

I mean seriously…

It’s like everyones best dream come true to be suddenly in the MONEY.

But look at the vast majority of lotto winners.

An astonishing number of instant millionaires end up broke after
only a few years.

Why is that?

It’s because they got crushed by the Money Avalanche and their
own “Fast Money” mentality.

It came in too soon, too hard and too fast.

No time to prepare.

It’s…

“Here’s a check for $10 million. Where would you like it”?

Their reaction…

“I’ve never seen a check for $10,000, let alone $10 million!”.

And so the end begins before the beginning could even begin.

So what’s a poor farm boy (that was me) to do?

Like I said earlier…

I am guilty of being a “Fast Money Thinker”.

Back in 2002 & 2003, I went through some rough financial waters.

The main Internet program I had worked on since early ‘99 collapsed,
and so did my residual check. Plus I thought I’d play the role
of “landlord”, bought 8 rentals, thought I was Carlton Sheets, etc…

Ended up in bancruptcy court.

Scrambling and crying, I found myself in desperation mode, seeking
any relief from the pressure and embarrasment of not being able to
pay even the smallest of bills on time.

You can’t imagine the humilation of having to call home to your
parents at the age of 30 to ask for MONEY.

You can’t imagine the humility pill I had to swallow to ask my
SISTER for $2k, which was taking money away from her famiy.

You can’t imagine the agony of wondering if you have enough money
to buy groceries.

And on and on it went.

Thankfully, there was a light at the end of the tunnel.

It was called…

Get A Job.

Yes, that was my salvation.

Going back to work with a buddy of mine doing landscaping for $11/hr.

It gave me much needed cashflow and a chance to recover….

Financially & mentally.

It was enough to get me back on my feet so that by Sept., 8th, 2005,
I walked away from the landscaping gig altogether, never to return.

I don’t know what your solution to the “Fast Money Thinker” issue is.

I don’t proclaim to have all the answers.

All I know is what worked for me.

But I will deliver to you this one vital piece of advice that was
taught to me by one of my mentors, Joe Schroeder.

Joe said this…

“Your need to make money is the reason why you’re not making any”.

Think about that.

It’s 100% true.

When you’re in need, you’re in lack mode.

You need to pay the rent, but can’t.

You need to pay the electric, gas and water, but can’t.

You need to pay for food, but can’t.

What’s the ONE thing your mind sees above all else?

It’s one word….

LACK!

I’ll say it again…

It’s LACK!

You don’t have enough.

So your mind starts to protect what little resources it has left.

That’s why to a broke person, $20 is everything.

Whereas to a rich person, $20 is 2 pennies on the ground that
gets over-looked.

Why?

Because one of them has their needs covered.

I’ll let you figure who it might be.

Ok…

Back to the “Guru” pitching “Massive Cash Fast”.

It’s good for him,

He’s making “Massive Cash Fast”.

But for the little guy, it’s another pipe dream because they
bought into the idea that if they just buy his course, they too
can begin to see “Massive Cash Fast”.

Don’t worry, I’ve done it too.

Just know that there are certain skills, attitudes and resources
needed to make Massive Cash Fast happen for yourself.

That’s another great question.

Here’s the HONEST answer:

Too many people get tied up believing that the secret is in the “SYSTEM”.

I’m here to tell ya, the “system” is NOT the secret.

It’s how YOU drive the “SYSTEM” that matters most!

( I just saved you 2 years of frustration. You can thank me later.)

Here’s a quick example…

You and I join Program A.

(Whatever Program A is, doesn’t matter)

Program A sells us both a kick ass “SYSTEM” for $29.95 a month.

But the “SYSTEM” is flawed because you and I still have to drive
traffic to the “SYSTEM” in order for the “SYSTEM” to work.

That’s FLAW #1.

( For the confused… It’s like getting an $80K Mercedes but having
to stop at the dealership on the way home to fill up the tank. )

Any-hoo…

The “SYSTEM” tells us to place these ads, and to use X, Y and Z.

Only problem is, is that everyone else is using the SAME DAMN ads.

That’s FLAW #2.

(For the confused… It’s like your local car dealership running
ads that say: Low/Prices, Great Selection. YAWN! They’re all
saying that!)

Ok, STOP RIGHT THERE.

That’s 2 HUGE flaws that stop 99% of the people in their tracks.

Ever wonder why most people don’t make a nickel in most biz opps?

Re-read Flaws #1 and #2.

Gosh darn it George, this kid is telling it like it is.

Shut up Margaret, let the kid speak some more TRUTH!

So, what’s the SOLUTION?

Your only real solution is to NEVER fully rely on the “SYSTEM” again.

If you do, you’re setting yourself up for failure.

Your 2nd solution…

Is to become good at writing ad copy.

Yes, I know.

Copy-writing is one of the most boring topics known to mankind.

Only a distant second to watching white paint drying.

But…

It’s one of the easiest skills to become good at and in return,
can make you a boatload of money in ANY program you choose!

All of the big names have mastered it…

* Mike Dillard

* Luke Jaten

* Jeff Paul

* Yanik Silver

* Frank Kern

* Joe Schroeder

* And many others!

Point is is this…

If you seriously want to reach for the top rung of the ladder,
then at the very least, get comfortable with crafting your own
copy-writing,

That includes your own ads, blog content, follow-up emails,
voice scripts, etc…

Don’t do like I did…

I made the huge mistake of ignoring this advice back in the early 2000s.

I thought to myself…

I don’t need to know how to write ads, or an email letter. I’d always
use someone elses.

Big, BIG mistake.

Fast forward to today….

I rely so much on my own ability to craft my own sales letters,
ads, blog content, video clips, etc… that if I didn’t have this
valuable skill, I’d be screwed.

Seriously.

There’s no debating it. There’s no denying its importance.

Now, don’t get my wrong.

I’m not suggesting that you have to become a Dan Kennedy or
a John Carlton, two of the greatest living copy-writers today,
who each repsectively command tens of thousands of dollars PLUS
royalties just to write a single sales letter!

But I am suggesting….

That you become aware of the urgent need to improve your use of the written word.

Because it’s amazing what can happen when you write a few words
down in the right order on a sheet of paper. You can instantly
transform a boring sheet of paper into a cash producing machine.
